"ROCA Industry definitely stands for quality"
The company Gotthardt from Hamburg/Germany is a wholesaler of water sports equipment. The company's slogan is: “Quality on board”. This approach also characterizes the cooperation with ROCA Industry.
As an importer and specialist wholesaler for the distribution of quality products for yacht equipment, Gotthardt's customers include shipyards, specialist water sports retailers, sailmakers and service companies: “In other words, all sectors that have something to do with water sports.”
In his role as a wholesale and foreign trade specialist at Gotthardt, Cedric Menzel is in regular contact with ROCA Industry, which is why we spoke to him about the collaboration between ROCA and his company.
ROCA products are very often found on boats
Incidentally, Cedric Menzel is an avid regatta sailor in his spare time, which makes him a real expert on marine products. He tells us: "ROCA products are very often found on boats. Fittings such as hinges or cleats are often used on sailing yachts. Latches, clothes hooks and boat handles & grab bars from ROCA are also frequently used in interior fittings."
Among the items he has onboard himself, are the ROCA Industry flagpole holder, handrails and marine ventilators.
A long lasting cooperation
The two companies have been working together for quite some time: "ROCA has been a core part of our product range for several decades,” explains Cedric Menzel when asked how long exactly Gotthardt has been selling ROCA products.
The collaboration is extremely trusting and based on partnership: “We are virtually part of the company and see ourselves as the ROCA sales department for the German-speaking marine market.”
Apart from that, ROCA Industry's products also attract customers to the Gotthardt stand at trade fairs, he adds.

Wiper systems and hinges are popular
Cedric Menzel tells us that the ROCA hinges are particularly popular with customers. Similarly, Rakego folding brackets and teak accessories, such as handrails and flagpoles, are also frequently purchased. However, one product is clearly the most popular: “The product category we sell the most is ROCA:s wiper systems”.
There are two reasons why Gotthardt decided to sell ROCA Industry products: “The products are of high quality and customers demand them.”
According to Cedric Menzel, the really low number of complaints compared to the long period of cooperation shows just how durable and of high quality ROCA Industry products are.
“A well-working system”
When asked what his personal favorite ROCA Industry product is, Cedric Menzel does not have to think for long: “I personally really like the Blackline cleats.”
But he also likes the W12 wiper system because of its practical size. And the wiper systems from ROCA Industry have another advantage - the wiper configurator: “Definitely a well-working system.”
Nothing to improve
Because of the high quality of ROCA Industry products, Cedric can't think of anything that could be improved: “ROCA Industry clearly stands for quality among our customers.”
He explains that working together with ROCA Industry is simple and uncomplicated: “Whether it is an order entry or shipping: ROCA is very fast. If there are any questions or problems, competent contact persons at ROCA provide straightforward assistance."
