Finnish interior design at its best
Ever since Alvar Aalto's heydays, Finnish architecture and design have struck us with their elegance and clean structure. Evolving this tradition, even glass and aluminum profiles play a big part - creating unique spaces and atmospheres. Here are two projects that bear this spirit and in which our aluminum profiles were used.
Located in the bustling heart of Helsinki, Strand Properties’ new office is a testament to modern design that balances style with practical functionality. Designed by Jutta Tanninen, this multifunctional space offers a range of environments to suit every need; from private work areas to collaborative team zones, and a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Upon entering, visitors are greeted by striking double glass doors crafted by our valued customer, Essis by Lasilinki. These doors feature refined striped glass framed in clean white aluminum profiles by ROCA Industry, adding an element of openness and sophistication to the space.
This elegant entryway beautifully showcases how thoughtful design can create an inviting and visually impressive atmosphere.
Bathroom area at design fair
The second example of modern Finnish design, artisan glass and aluminum profiles in perfect combination, could be found at a design fair in Helsinki in September 2024. The below pictures show a bathroom area at the Habitare fair's Neighbors theme area that was curated by Anna Pirkola and Ulla Koskinen.
The custom-painted ROCA Industry aluminum profiles frame Essis by Lasilinki's handmade artisan glass with a screen pattern, optiwhite shade.
