Meet ROCA Industry's new warehouse manager

Oscar Möller, 47, is ROCA Industry's new warehouse manager. His most recent position was project manager at WH Group. Read about Oscar here!

We had a short chat with Oscar at the warehouse's office, which is located at the far end of ROCA Industry's warehouse.

Who is Oscar Möller?

I am an experienced logistician and warehouse worker. I started "on the floor" and in the course of my career have taken the step towards the strategic questions in warehouse management. Among other things, I have worked with processes that improve the warehouse, both internally and for the customers. The constant goal for me is to optimize and deliver. I like that, and this has been my profession for 25 years - to improve efficiency, but at the same time have fun in the warehouse. 

Why did you choose to apply to ROCA Industry?

There is a lot that suits me here, boats are my hobby and that is why I like that ROCA Industry has its roots in the marine sector. I am educated in marine engineering. I live in Tyresö so that has also played a role in my decision to take action and apply for the position.

But what struck me the most when I introduced myself here for the first time was that the warehouse is in the same place, in the same building, as the rest of the business. By this, the warehouse automatically becomes an important part of the company. A lot of other companies have their warehouses somewhere else, which makes it difficult to create the team spirit that I'm looking for.

What will your focus be now when you start at ROCA?

First and foremost, I want to get to know the guys at the warehouse and how they work as a team and as individuals. I will follow them in their everyday work. I need to have a good current picture if I am to work on improving and optimizing processes.

It's kind of funny that it feels like I've been here a long time, even though I'm doing my first day of work today (December 5th, ed note). There is an open and welcoming climate here at ROCA Industry. I'm already looking forward to day two here!
